*New SS Project -- supplies needed!*

Hello Families!
In case some of you do not know, I am Mellisha Culpepper, the student
teacher in Allisyn's class this semester. As you all know we have been researching Native Americans for the past few months! As part of my own school project, I have been working with the students to investigate and discover the amazing Iroquois Culture. We have
been researching many characteristics of what their lives were like 500
years ago here in the Northeast.

Our goal is to create a 3D model that replicates what an Iroquois Village may have looked like. After researching, reading,
brainstorming, and visiting Waterloo, we are finally ready to start
working on the 3D model!

We need your support in contributing art materials to our class. The
students organized a list of items they would like to use to construct this wonderful work of art. Many of these items can be found outside in nature, while others may be somewhere around your home. Anything you can contribute would be greatly appreciated:

Materials Needed:

small rocks
tiny rocks
dirt
clay ( earth tones)
popsicle sticks
yarn
beads
buttons
shells
leaves
toothpicks
paint
string
sticks/twigs (we need lots of these)
tissue paper
cardboard
brown paper bags
empty toilet paper rolls or paper towel rolls
grass
moss

Thanks again!
